What was once a highschool dream, turned into reality.

For the people who once binge watched anime during the summer break; and no longer able to do so due to their changes in lifestyle - whether it be to work, personal circumstances or having to spend 90% of your time with your girlfriend.

OKIO came from the city Tokyo (obviously) but there was a little back story behind that.

It was always a dream to travel to Japan to fulfill my lowkey otaku lurking inside me. My girlfriend and two other good friends of mine have always postponed our trip to Japan. We're adults now what can you expect? It's difficult to manage our lives nowadays working full-time and getting started in your career. But then - 

Out of the blue, my friend Jason messaged our whatsapp group and commented..."So we still down for Japan?" and out of the spur of the moment, (the toronto hype mans that we are) OKAY YO LET'S DO IT.

After my trip to Japan, it reignited my love for the culture and my love for anime as it has always been there for me growing up.
